The Summer of F-U-N!!

We have full on, had the best summer ever. All of the kids are big enough to get excited for vacation and help with their baby brother.

We started out at Bryce Canyon in June. Much fun. On our way home from Bryce, we picked up the newest member of our family, a new golden retriever puppy. She is half American Golden and half English golden. Her name is officially: Princess Coco Puff. But we really just call her Coco. We LOVE her!! Chancers wasn't a fan at first, but now they lay out on the lawn together, even in the hottest weather. Coco jumps on Chance and chases her and generally annoys her. Chance puts up with her with the patience of Job!

For our next adventure, we headed to Bear Lake in July. We decided to take the boat out for its first trip of the season. We got about a mile from shore when Jeremy cut the engine. We had zero oil pressure. It turns out that the place that did its yearly tune up sort of forgot to put ANY oil in it. Luckily, I put my phone on board at the last minute. After calling lots of places, we were patched through to the volunteer Coast Gaurd. They came and rescued us, towing the boat to shore!

We spent the 24th of July (Pioneer Day) in Fairview with the Jorgensen side of the family, including "the Texas 5". Eric's kids were here for a whole month! We spent a lot of time with them. We love our family so much and it was a lot of fun playing games and laughing and joking. Mitchell and Liesel experienced new freedoms in Fairview, walking to the gas station for a drink with their cousins. They spent some time on the 4-Wheelers with grandpa and the older cousins.

To celebrate my birthday, we took the kids to Lagoon for Stake Lagoon day. It was fun to watch the kids on the roller coasters. Jorgen was a pretty good sport for half of the day, then Grandpa Jorgensen picked him up and took him home, out of the heat.

I headed to Key West, Florida for five days at the beginning of August with my girl friends. Oh my goodness, everyone should have that much fun!!!! We went snorkeling, shopped and spent much time in our private pool!

While I was gone, Jeremy and the kids went to Bear Lake again. This time, the boat really worked and Mitchell finally got up on waterskis!!! Good job, Mitchell!! They all had so much fun, they didn't even hardly miss me! (Except Jorgen. He slapped me when I got home from the airport. Good to know he isn't holding those feelings deep, deep down inside!)

My nephew, Tyler got married August 5th and then Jeremy's niece, Ali got married August 16th. Jeremy headed to Denver and spent a little time with the Evans bunch.

Man!!! It has been rip-roarin', out of control fun!!! Now school starts tomorrow. It's a good thing, because I can't take much more!!!
