Halloween!

 After a FREAKING MELTDOWN, Jorgie finally put on his costume and was delighted to be a "Stelton".

 Pumpkin carving!  Jeremy used the jigsaw to cut the tops off.

 Making the faces on their pumpkins is the highlight of the carving experience.  They decide and then they change their minds, and then they decide again. I love to watch them concentrate on their design.  (So serious)

Well, here we all are!  Halloween is party time for our family!  We head carve pumpkins, trick-or-treat in our neighborhood and then we head to Grandma Betty's for a big family party.

So, here is the funny story.  Keylee took Jorgie trick-or-treating for me.  She is so cute, she was dressed up like a dragon.  She got to one house and the lady handed Jorgen candy and then shut the door on her without giving her any candy.  She came home and told us that she was DENIED.  

Brenda decided that that was just crap.  She said, "Mary!  Let's go Trick-or-Treating!!"  So she took my hat, and my cape and off we went!  We took Keylee with us, and she stayed in the car to watch.  

As we were going up the stairs, I mentioned that I didn't know if I could do it without laughing.  Brenda said, "Oh, Mary! Grow a pair!"

We got to the door, rang the bell and said, "TRICK-OR-TREAT!".  

The woman came to the door, looked at us and said, "Wow."  Only it came out like this: "WOOOOOOOW."

We laughed so hard we almost peed our pants.  Keylee couldn't believe we did it.

Anyway, you can see why I love Halloween.  :)
