The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!!

OK, it has been a while. It has been a crazy, busy December, which culminated to a wonderful Christmas. My kids have been so excited since Thanksgiving, and you can't help but get excited with them. On Christmas Eve we were at my mom's house. The kids get pajamas from her every year. They had opened up their PJ's and changed into them. Then Mitchell wanted to check NORAD's(North American Aerospace Defense Command) Santa Tracker. (For those of you who don't know about the Santa Tracker, check out this link: Santa Tracker)

Anyway, the kids were having fun, running around, playing with newly opened gifts when the Santa Tracker was checked. It was discovered that Santa had just crossed the border into Utah. Then my children, who will never leave their grandmother's house, all got their coats on. Liesel packed up gifts, grabbed the diaper bag and exclaimed, with shock on her face and wide open eyes, "SANTA IS IN UTAH, WE HAVE TO GO!!!!"

And with that our visit was over. We were pushed out the door by our children.

At 6:00 the next morning Liesel entered our room, baby in hand, to inform us that Santa had been to our house. And we were off with a bang!!

Needless to say, our Christmas was happy, and we hope that yours was too.
