Easter

Here are some photos from our Easter Egg Hunt last Saturday.  It was so much fun to hang out with my parents, siblings and the rest of my funny, freaking awesome family!!

 Every year the kids line up on the steps for a photo.

 This year we have baby Leah as the final grandkid!
(the great-grandkids: Kasha, Mason & Addie)

 Another adorable close up! Mason.  How adorable is he?

After the eggs were all cleaned up, my nephew, Alec, taught Jorg some soccer moves.

{OK. Funny Story:  Jorgen plays on a S.W.A.T. soccer team.  He started last fall.  Most of the boys had already played one year.  Then they played Indoor over the winter. With swimming carpool, Seth's carpool and everything else, we just couldn't make it to one more thing.  So, we started back up with the boys playing soccer a few weeks ago.   The boys on Jorgen's team are pretty skilled.  After he went in to play during the first game, the other boys were running a bit faster than him and handled the ball with quite a bit more ease.  Jorg took it all in stride, ran fast and did his best.  When it was his turn to sit out, he came and sat down next to me to get a drink and said, in the most matter of fact way,
"Mom.  I think those guys are better than me."

He was absolutely stunned and not a bit sad.  I chuckled a bit and said, "Yeah, they are.  But they have been practicing.  You can practice and get better too."
"Yep."  }

So, Alec, the college soccer player practiced with him.  What a couple of cute boys.  :0

It was an awesome day!!
